Fermented Cod Liver Oil Liquid Cinnamon Flavour Green Pasture
Fermented Cod Liver Oil Liquid Cinnamon Flavour Green Pasture
Highly recommended by the Weston A Price Foundation, fermented cod liver oil is manufactured without heat. Wild caught cod from pristine arctic waters are placed in large stainless steel vats and carefully fermented for 6 months. The oil that rises to the top is naturally rich in Vitamins A and D as well as important cofactors that enhance our uptake and utilization of these fat soluble vitamins.
Blue Ice Fermented Cod Liver Oils are extremely stable, and very high in naturally occurring:
- Vitamins A and D
- EPA and DHA
- Omega 3, 6, 7, 9
- Quinones
This remarkable combination of nutrients accounts for cod liver oil’s longstanding reputation as a home remedy for strengthening immunity, reducing inflammation and improving general resistance to disease. A bedrock supplement for a traditional, nourishing lifestyle!
With a robust flavour derived from Cinnamon and stevia leaf, Blue Ice Fermented Cod Liver Oil Cinnamon has a spicy, punchy sweetness that’s very popular in the USA. Our Australian pallet sometimes finds it a bit overpowering.
We don't recommend the cinnamon flavour for young children as cinnamon is sometimes an allergen in kids, causing a rash around the lips.
Important tip!
Don't take Fermented Cod Liver Oil straight. Due to the lacto-fermentation, it can sting the back of your throat. The best way is to draw out your serving with the accompanying syringe and then mixing it into about 10mls of milk or juice.
